I’m John Ikeda, a certified personal trainer and the founder of Built For More Fitness. At 68 years old, I understand firsthand how training needs to change as we age. My mission is to help adults 40–70 build strength, mobility, balance, and confidence through safe, realistic, and sustainable fitness. I believe exercise should support your life—not wear you down. My programs focus on strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health, and daily function so you can stay independent, active, and confident for years to come. You don’t need extreme workouts or perfect consistency—you just need a plan that fits your body and your season of life. I founded Built For More in 2022 after successful careers in both the Navy as a Naval Flight Officer (Retired Commander) and as a Mid-level Executive in Program and Project Management.
